Music artiste, Falz joined the #ENDSARS protest that took off from Lekki this morning. It was a call for the Government to abolish the SARS arm of the police force that has been responsible for terrorizing and brutalising a lot of young people in the country. present at the protest were other celebrities such as Toke Makinwa, Dija, Jaywon, and a host of other youths in the state.
Falz later took to his social media to update his fans and others who couldn’t join in the protest. He said “we don’t want a reform, we do not want SARS anymore”
“Our message is clear. Today was very peaceful & the authorities know what to do in order to keep the peace. BIG LOVE to everyone that came out today! It was really inspiring seeing so many celebrities & young people join the movement. It is important we stay together. No going back, no backing out. #ENDSARS#ENDPOLICEBRUTALITY”
