Fernandez Bishop popularly known as Fernandez Muzik (Jesus freak) was, yesterday, crushed to death by a truck at Akpajo, Eleme in Port Harcout, Rivers state.
Fernandez was reportedly on his way to see a pastor when the accident occurred at Akpajo, Eleme in Port Harcourt.
The devout Christian was known for his upbeat gospel praise songs. He was also a chorister at House on the Rock Church.
Fernandez friend has taken to his Facebook page to express his pain. He wrote;
“RIP Bishop Fernandez…I am so short of words…what will happen to our dreams of organizing massive revival outreaches for the youth of Akpajo Eleme Community and beyond.
I am forever grateful to you for your support at my events most especially The Green Summit, even though I may not have lived up to your expectation as your Manager as much as I planned, I know you are in a better place singing with the Angels, tell my Sister Chidinma that I miss her dearly and I won’t stop supporting Talented Christian Youth as long as I live.
The youth you have mentored all over Nigeria and beyond will continue the great legacy you left behind.I miss your great voice and powerful ministrations.The world will still hear your songs.Adieu my great Friend.”
