In today’s world there is a quest for young Christian musicians to explore their talents and be identified as celebrities, but limited gospel music platforms in Africa makes such pursuit difficult to achieve.
It is for this reasons that a new gospel music platform tagged Gospel Music Africa competition debuted over the weekend in Lagos.
Organizers say the show is aimed at inspiring and nurturing young talented gospel singers.
Guests at the event hoped that the platform will encourage young gospel singers to stay in gospel music and not abandon it for secular music.
Organizers stressed that the platform will enable young people acquire the needed inspiration for the emancipation of the African continent.
