Famous Nigerian artist Yung L was live on TVC’s entertainment show #EntSplash where he revealed how he almost gave up on music.
Yung L who just got signed to chocolate city, is set to release his debut album, ‘Better Late than Never’. Speaking with Honeypot & Ariyike yesterday on the show, Yung L said;
“I titled my album ‘Better Late than Never’ because it talks about my life ,my career. I’m just trying to tell people that, even though it took this long for my album to come out, it’s better it came out late than it never happened.”
“It took me a while to get to where i am now and it wasn’t because i wasn’t talented or i wasn’t putting out good music but just that when it is your time it is your time. Last year i almost quit my music career, but I had a conversation with God that if he is going to make it happen, let it happen but if it will not happen then am done.”
Speaking about his relationship with Nicki Minaj, he said;
“We’re colleagues, we worked on a song together & we talk once in a while because we plan on working on other songs. I consider her as a friend, but trust me I don’t kiss and tell.”
Yung L likened his album to his first child, he said; “This is my fist child and i’m excited to drop it. Come next month, the album should be out.”
