TVC E. The Imo State Governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha have yesterday recalled the workers earlier suspended in 19 parastatals, departments and agencies.NLC members from the 36 states of the federation led by the National President, Comrade Ayuba Wabba on Wednesday converged in Owerri, to hold a protest against the Concession Policy of the state government and force the state to reverse the suspension of the affected workers.
All activities at the Sam Mbakwe Airport, Owerri and other government offices under the NLC were shutdown to effect the compliance of the protest.
But consequent upon a meeting held between the State government and the State Executive of the NLC at the office of the Secretary to the Imo State Government, it was agreed that the suspension of the workers would be reversed.
