Manchester United and adidas have officially launched the club’s new home kit for the 2024/25 season at Old Trafford. Designed to command attention, the 2024/25 home kit is now available for purchase, boasting a striking design that shines under the lights of Old Trafford.
Inspired by a historic shirt worn by the Busby Babes in 1952, known for its reflective materials aiding visibility under floodlights, this season’s kit features a unique array of red shades. A gradient from light to dark red flows down the shirt, complemented by a vibrant, never-before-seen flame-like red insert on the side panel of both the shirt and shorts, creating a dynamic look that stands out against the stadium backdrop.
The kit is further accentuated by a seasonal crew neck and adidas’ iconic three-stripes in white along the shoulders, alongside the logos of adidas and the club’s principal partner, Snapdragon. A classic red devil sign-off adorns the front of the black socks, paying homage to the club’s rich heritage.
Sam Handy, SVP of Product and Design at adidas, highlighted the kit’s innovative design: “Drawing inspiration from a lesser-known piece of our history, the 1952 shirt, we’ve crafted a modern expression that captures the essence of Manchester United. The use of advanced HEAT.RDY and AEROREADY technologies ensures both players and fans experience peak performance and comfort.”
