American actress and singer, Naya Rivera has reportedly filed for divorce from her husband, Ryan Dorsey after two years of marriage.
Us Weekly quoted the Los Angeles County Court as saying that the Glee alum filed for divorce on November 15 and is seeking primary physical custody of their 14-month-old son, Josey, with visitation rights for Dorsey.
A joint statement released on Monday, November 21 by the couple on their divorce read, “After much consideration, we have made the decision to end our marriage.
“Our priority is and always will be our beautiful son that we share together. We will continue to be great co-parenting partners for him. We ask for respect and privacy for our family during this difficult time.”
Rivera and Dorsey got hitched in July 2014, on the same date she was supposed to be wedded to her ex-fiance, Big Sean.
The marriage came three months after the actress’ split from the rapper in April 2014, following allegations that he cheated on her with Ariana Grande.
