Bala Haruna, a big supporter of Buhari who spent time celebrating Buhari’s re-election inside a gutter, drinking drainage water, reporteddies few days after Buhari’s victory.
Haruna had vowed to drink and bath with gutter water if president Buhari emerge as the winner of the presidential election of February 23.
Upon the declaration of Buhari as the winner of the election, Haruna fulfilled his promise by going down into the gutter, bath himself and went further to drink the water.
Few days after he went viral on social media for his action, unconfirmed reports says that the Bauchi-based man died after battling with severe stooling of blood in the hospital for days.
According to The Guardian, Haruna was rushed to the hospital after complaining of severe abdominal pains and severe stooling of blood for two days.
After series of tests conducted, he was diagnosed with gastrointestinal bleeding, which was contacted from the contaminated water he drank.
