Nigerian comedian and actor, Ayo Makun, popularly known as AY, has finally opened up on his alleged beef with his colleague, Bright Okpocha a.k.a Basketmouth.
AY revealed this in a recent ‘ask me anything’ session which he organised on his Instagram page.
A follower had asked, “@aycomedian do you really have any issues with basket mouth?”
AY responded confirming that while he wasn’t friends with him, he had no “issues” with him.
“I don’t have issues with him. But people having unnecessary issues with you are the price you sometimes pay for being progressive.”
“He has been battling with his uncontrollable superiority complex for the longest. So avoiding his incessant childishness only became necessary for my own sanity.”
Following his response, another fan commented, “@aycomedian in other words the both of you don’t talk.”
Confirming the fan assumptions, AY replied
“We only talk to those who want to talk to us. Does this make sense?”
