After her future husband and his family insisted that she can’t bring in her child from her past relationship to her new home, the bride-to-be reportedly called off her wedding
In a now-viral post she shared on Twitter, a lady shared a story of a woman whose previous relationship where she had a child didn’t work out and she met another man who was interested in her and they got engaged.
Shortly after the engagement, her husband-to-be and his family insisted that she doesn’t bring her child into her matrimonial home after marriage.
The lady was asked to send her child back to her mum’s house and she refused and instead called off the wedding.
The narrator wrote:
“I stan this girl. She cancelled her engagement mid lobola negotiations because her fiance and his family wouldn’t allow her to move in with her child from her previous relationship.”
Thembisile’s post has stirred reactions from netizens who have wondered why the lady and her fiancé didn’t talk about the child issue before planning their marriage.
