Tinubu donates N100m to Kano Flood Victims

Sen. Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate for the election of 2023, has given N100 million to Kano flood victims.

At a dinner hosted in his honour by the Kano Business Community Council on Saturday in Kano, Tinubu made the announcement about the donation.

The presidential candidate urged fervent prayer in order to put an end to flood disasters in the state and the country as a whole.

According to Tinubu, the donation was made to lessen the victims’ suffering in the affected Local Government Areas.

If elected, the APC nominee promised that Nigeria’s diversity would be a source of wealth for all.

“Unity in diversity, peace and prosperity are the fulcrum of my mission in this contest,” he said

Tinubu also promised the Kano business community that he would provide an enabling environment for businesses to thrive in the state.

“If elected in 2023, I pledged to reposition existing industries across Nigeria and make them a competitive source of industrialisation and growth,” Tinubu said.

Tinubu mentioned the steps the federal government has taken to develop the nation’s infrastructure and make conducting business easier.

For the entire nation, not just the North or Kano, the APC presidential candidate promised to reposition existing sectors and make them a competitive source of industrialization and prosperity.

He also commended Gov. Abdullahi Ganduje for his stride in Infrastructure development in the state.

Tinubu, who described Ganduje as a “friend and a reliable partner”, said that the relationship between Kano and Lagos dated back years due to the similarities between the two economic giants.

The APC candidate for president also pledged to the business sector that he would create an environment that would allow companies to prosper in the state.

He expressed gratitude to the business community for the honour and made a vow to consider their plan if elected.

“If we win the election, we will call your representatives and see how we can move the nation forward,” he said.
