Tyrese Ordered To Pay Monthly Child Support

Wrapping up the legal divorce drama between American singer Tyrese and his estranged wife, Samantha Gibson, a U.S judge has ruled in favour of the singer, thereby saving him from paying spousal support.

On the other hand, he will be paying ten thousand six hundred and ninety dollars in monthly child support for their three-year-old daughter, Soraya Gibson.

Tyrese is however not only paying for his daughter’s future financially but her past too, as the judge reportedly said the ten thousand dollars a month dates back to when Samantha first filed for divorce in September 2020, meaning he owes his ex a lump sum of two hundred and nine thousand dollars.

After Tyrese revealed he had been making Samantha’s car payments for two years, the judge knocked off forty-six thousand dollars, bringing the final sum to one hundred and sixty-nine thousand dollars owed.

Asides from ruling that neither party will pay spousal support, Tyrese also got their Range Rover, while Samantha got their Land Rover. The Judge also granted Samantha’s petition for a divorce, which means both of them are now single.

Advising the now estranged parents, the judge said, “I want you both to love your kid, and I want you both to tell your kid to love the other parent. Because that’s how we get successful human beings who learn that relationships, even when they don’t work, don’t have to be dumpster fires.”

According to reports, Tyrese is also paying over ten thousand dollars monthly in child support for his teenage daughter, Shayla Gibson. The fourteen-year-old lives in California with his ex-wife Norma Mitchell.
