According to Omowumi Fadairo, the Rainbow diet is a food plan that signifies the concept of healthy eating.

People tend to worry about what they should eat to be healthy but the idea according to Omowumi Fadairo is to eat from the different colours of food following the rainbow because those characteristic colours come from the nutrients that those groups of food contain.

As much as your area eating red, you’re eating all the nutrients and the more the colours the healthier because you will be eating from a wide range of nutrients. she added.

Simply put, eating the rainbow involves eating fruits and vegetables of different colours every day. Plants contain different pigments, or phytonutrients, which give them their colour. Different-coloured plants are linked to higher levels of specific nutrients and health benefits.

Each color represents a different phytochemical and set of nutrients that may benefit your health.
