Delta born model and actor, Melvin Oduah who was popular after participating in Big Brother Africa’s eighth season in 2013, was a guest on #WakeUpNigeria.
Speaking about featuring in reality show, Melvin hinted that his determination and grace has worked for him thus far. Adding that his personality always helped people connect with him.
“I believe my personality played a role and helped me go all the way.”
Speaking about his acting career, Melvin commented;
” I’ve been acting since I was a child. I had the zeal to act, I just need that platform to make me popular and reality shows like Big Brother Africa helped to put me out there. I keep getting calls to feature in movies.”
Noting that he never really won any of what he contested for like the Big Brother Africa, Gulder Ultimate Search and Mr Nigeria, Melvin said;
“Though the psychological effect of almost winning and not winning is there, I don’t see myself giving up.”
Also, passing a comment about himself and the just concluded BBN housemate, Debbie rise, He said; “Debbie rise and I are cool, we are friends. It has never really been higher, we have always been friends.”
