Following various speculation as regards their marriage, veteran Nollywood actress, Iretiola Doyle has confirmed the end of her marriage to veteran actor, Patrick Doyle.

This was made known during a sit-down with Chude Jidenowo on his show, ‘With Chude’ where she stated, “we are officially divorced.” Take a look at an excerpt from the interview.
The veteran actress also shared a clip of the interview on her Instagram page with the caption, “There is a time to be silent and a time to speak…In this age where everything one says is scrutinized and quartered; it takes a certain level of trust to bare intimate details…we are here now.”
The actress denied that she had her first child at the age of 17, claiming that it was at the age of 19 and that she had no business marrying at that age.
“The truth of the matter is that I had no business being married at that time, period! Let’s not talk go to the choice of who I married.
“I can’t sacrifice my life in the alter of your imagination or your fantasy,” she said.
She said, “When you’re an adult, it’s not a life and death situation…there are some situations that are way beyond your control, the truth of the matter is that I had no business being married at that time, period! let’s not talk go to the choice of who I married.”
If you would recall, the fifty-five-year-old actress moved out of their matrimonial home back in 2017 after an undisclosed dispute with her husband.
And in 2019, the veteran broadcaster and actor, Patrick Doyle took to social media to publicly apologize to her after admitting he was responsible for screwing up their marriage which started in 2004.
