American TV host, Wendy Williams has checked into a wellness facility to help manage her overall health.

According to reports, Wendy’s publicist said, “She is taking some time to focus on her health and wellness as she prepares for a major comeback for the next level in her career with The Wendy Experience Podcast. Ms. Williams is being treated by a team of some of the best doctors in the world. We ask for your prayers and well wishes during this time.”
If you would recall, last year Wendy became absent from her syndicated talk show as she focused on her health. Her absence from the show lasted the entire season, which eventually led to the cancellation of the show.
In her absence, there was a rotation of guest hosts who filled in for her, one of which was fans’ favourite, Sherri Shepherd, who landed her own talk show, which has replaced Wendy’s show.
Since the ending of The Wendy Williams show, Wendy has shared on social media a few times her plans to launch her new podcast, called “The Wendy Experience Podcast.”
Announcing the podcast, the TV host said, “When one door closes a LARGER one Opens!” However, there were no further details shared about the podcast’s launch.
