Senate slashes cost of JAMB forms

TVC E, NEWS – This is cheering news for prospective university applicants.

The Nigerian Senate has urged the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board to reduce the cost of its form from 5,000 Naira to 2,500 Naira.

This it says is to cushion the effect of economic downturn on parents and intending applicants.

Besides, the Senate resolved that JAMB results are now to have a three-year validity for admission into tertiary institutions.

The resolutions are contained in the adopted recommendations of its committee on Tertiary Education which investigated complaints against the new JAMB policy on admissions.
