Pinnick seeks support for Okowa

Pinnick The immediate past executive chairman of Delta State Sports Commission and President of the Nigeria Football Federation, Amaju Pinnick, has hailed his replacement, Chief Tony Okowa, as the right man for the job. He therefore gave the people of the state the assurance that the Delta sports will remain in the upward swing.

Amaju who commended the state Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa, on the choice, revealed that Tony Okowa had been part and parcel of the success story of Delta sports.

He said, “We have worked together for years and I can vouch for him. He has contributed immensely to Delta sports and I know he will do very well and even surpass the achievements of my predecessor, Chief Solomon Ogba and myself. I expect him to go places because he understands the terrain and has worked with us on many fronts. He is even better than I in temperament because I know I can be difficult to work with but Tony is cool, calm but calculated.”
