Babatunde scores on Raja Casablanca debut

TVC E, SPORT –  Michael Babatunde, Super Eagles midfielder, made his first appearance with Raja Casablanca and scored the only goal that secured a draw for the Moroccan Botola Pro side in Friday’s 1-1 draw with FUS Rabat.

Yusupha Njie put FUS Rabat ahead in the 46th minute before Babatunde restored parity for the three-time African champions in the second half, allnigeriasoccer.com reports.

The attacking midfielder outpaced his marker before blasting a left-footed shot past the goalkeeper in the 66th minute.

Fellow Nigerian international, Osaguona Ighodaro, is still recovering from injury and did not take part in the game played at Stade Mohamed V (Casablanca).
