Miami Open Del Potro, Zverev

TVC E, SPORT – Argentine Juan Martin del Potro, Fernando Verdasco, and Fritz Taylor have advanced with straight set wins in the first round of the Miami Open.

Del Potro beat fellow countryman Guido Pella 6-love, 7-6 to set up a second round clash with third seed, Roger Federer.

Spaniard Verdasco ousted Gilles Muller of Luxembourg 7-6, 6-3 to advance to the second round.

American qualifier Taylor Fritz cruised past Italian Simone Bolelli 6-4, 6-2 and will meet Spanish eighth seed, David Ferrer next.
