Senate urges government support for local products

TVC E, BUSINESS – The Senate has urged President Muhammadu Buhari to initiate and implement the first option policy on purchase of locally manufactured goods for any government procurement.

This, it says, is to encourage patronage of made in Nigeria products.

The resolution is sequel to a motion on the need for patronage of made in Nigeria goods sponsored by Senator Enyinanya Abaribe.
