Players of Akwa United are calling for the return of suspended coach Maurice Cooreman saying they are missing his technical input.
The call is coming after the team’s poor run in the Nigeria Professional Football League despite the ‘sacking’ of Cooreman for similar reason.
Goalkeeper, Bassey Akpan, emphasized that the exit of Cooreman has created a vacuum.
He believes the Belgian has established a technical relationship with the players that would have yielded results with time.
