NNL shifts 2015/16 season by 21 days

The 2015/16 Nigeria National League season will no longer commence on Saturday, May 7th, as the league kick-off date has now been moved by another 21 days.

This is because some clubs failed to meet the required registration deadline.

A new date of 28th May, has now been set for the kick off of the new season.

The adhoc committee of the NNL, under the chairmanship of NFF vice President, Seyi Akinwunmi, believes the change in date will not affect the competitiveness and scheduling of the league.
