TVC E. The immediate past coach Yusuf Salihu of Abubakar Bukola Saraki (ABS FC) has threatened to take the club to court claiming that the club being owned by the Nigeria Senate president are owing him 23 months salaries and entitlements.

Yusuf Salihu who was in charge last season when Abubakar Bukola Saraki (ABS FC) finished second on the National League standings revealed that he left the club prior to the start of the new season when the club hired another coach, Henry Makinwa.

He added that all efforts to press his entitlements proved futile as the club are being nonchalant of looking at his side. Salihu then appealed to the proprietor of the club, Senator Bukola Saraki to order for the payment of his salaries and wages before taking the club to court.

In an exclusive chat, yusuf said: “I have waited enough, and its seems my patience is not helping me, and that is why I have to talk because I have suffered for ABS and they need to pay me my money.

“My children are currently at home now as I cannot afford to pay their school fees, and yet a club is owing me 23 months salaries without saying anything as regards it.

“Last season, we almost got a promotion ticket to the premier League despite the club not giving us anything throughout the whole season and we came second.

“Now, ABS have hired another coach who is being paid monthly salary of 1.5 million and yet players who are running around are hungry.

“I want to appeal once again to the club for them to pay me my money, because I don’t like a situation whereas I would sue them and people would now be blaming me,”

Meanwhile, efforts to speak with the chairman of the club, Seni Saraki who is the son of the Senate President were abortive as he did not respond.
