Mimiko calls for reintroduction of history in schools’ curriculum

Ondo State Governor, Segun Mimiko.

Ondo state Governor, Olusegun Mimiko has called for the reintroduction of the study of history into the nation’s education curriculum. 

Mimiko made the call at an event organized to mark his 62nd birthday held at the international event centre, Akure.

The event which attracted dignitaries from all walks of life, was used to launch a group known as Orange initiative network.

Mimiko noted there is need to ensure that students study history to ensure proper documentation of events.

He charged youths across Nigeria to be focused and seek the face of God in choosing their careers
