There has been a shake up in the leadership of the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria (FRN).
This is coming two days after the council was accused of persecution by some christian leaders, over its enforcement of its tenure limit on non-governmental organisations.
President Muhammadu Buhari approved the immediate removal and replacement of FRN’s Executive Secretary and the reconstitution of its board.
Adedotun Sulaiman is the new chairman, and Daniel Asapokhai the Executive Secretary of the Council.
No reason has been given for the shakeup.
