Adekunle Gold shuts down O2 Arena with his #About30 concert

Nigerian singer, Adekunle Gold on Friday June 30, 2018 held his much anticipated #About30 concert at the 02 arena in London.

The concert themed after his recently-released sophomore album titled ‘About 30’ saw the singer treat fans to live renditions of tracks from the project with his 79th element band.

The #About30 concert was sold out even before the even kicked off. The highlight of the event came with the “Orente” crooner grand entrance. He sat on a throne, in a brilliant gold apparel, flanked by bodyguards while his sister gave the ‘oriki’ in Yoruba alongside a brilliant talking drummer.

Another amazing moment was when Simi surprisingly joined him on stage to perform their 2017 collaboration’No Forget’. They not only sang their hearts out, they cuddled, with their PDA game fully on, spurring wild cheers from their fans. There were other featured guest performances by Falana, Juls at the concert.
