Cash crunch : ICAN tasks FG to invest in youths

TVC E, BUSINESS – The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria wants the government to engage  youths through entrepreneurship skill, as a step in reversing the country’s  dwindling economic trend.

Speakers at the 3rd entrepreneurship symposium on the theme, ”Tapping opportunities from your environment” say the higher institution curriculum needs to be tailored to meet the present economic situation.

They noted that inspite of being one the fastest growing economies in the world with an average GDP growth of 8.9%, the country’s huge potentials of the micro, small and medium enterprises sectors, are still largely untapped.

The speakers say youths can be equipped with necessary skills to survive the threat that starting a business could pose to them
