MI Abaga validates new mixtape, calls out American rappers

TVC E. Nigerian hip hop legend MI Abaga releases third mixtape, the Illegal Music 3, and receives mixed reactions from fans and critics. So Abaga gets on Twitter to defend his craft, saying he is better than most American rappers of today.

MI Abaga is a Chocolate City music rapper and executive. The self-acclaimed Chairman is widely regarded as one of the greatest hip hop artistes in 21st century Africa.

In a set of tweets, the Chairman rapper spoke about being better than most American rappers out there today. He then reacted to Twitter users who compared him to Pusha T and J Cole, and the frenzy in the wake of this has been nothing short of newsworthy.

”If IM3 is better than these Yankee rappers albums will you guys be honest and say the truth?”
