TVC E, MUSIC – Afropop star David ‘Davido’ Adeleke has disclosed that he spends a minimum of $30,000 (N5.9million) when he shops, according to a report.
Davido who told PM News that he is always happy when on such shopping sprees, said he owes no one an apology for flaunting his expensive jewelry and automobiles.
He however, stressed that he is not out to oppress anyone with his wealth.
“It is convenient to buy those luxurious items from money I earn from music,” he was quoted as saying.
“I am not doing this to oppress anybody. I’m only happy that I can walk into any store anywhere in the world and spend $30,000 at a go off my music. That’s just it. And this is money that I make in Africa and not in America,” he added.
Davido recently signed a deal worth millions with Sony/BMG Record.
