Obasanjo commends AFRIMA for uniting Africa

Culture should unite Africans and not divide them.

That advice came from former president of Nigeria Olusegun Obasanjo as he welcomed the international committee of the African Union and All Africa Music Awards.

Obasanjo, said he was delighted with the impact music, movies, and cultural festivals are making in Africa.

He encouraged the organizers not to relent in their efforts to promote the African culture to the world.

Initiator of the All Africa Music Awards Mike Dada and his team say the visit was in recognition of the former president as an African icon and a cultural enthusiast.

The highpoint of the visit was the squash challenge between the former president and the leader of the team Mike Dada.
