Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid made a grand entrance at the Vogue World: Paris event on June 24, 2024, arriving on horseback through the iconic Place Vendôme.
The two supermodels, known for their love of equestrian sports, were tapped to pay tribute to the 1950s fashion and equestrian theme of the show. Dressed in Hermès’ Fall 2024 collection, Jenner and Hadid elegantly rode their horses Django and Napo around the plaza.
The Andalusian horses were also outfitted in Hermès gear, including bright orange saddle pads, matching wraps, and blankets made from the brand’s signature scarves. This nod to Hermès’ origins in saddlery and leather goods added an extra touch of luxury to the models’ entrance.
Prior to the event, Jenner and Hadid had the opportunity to meet their horses and learn a bit about their backgrounds. Django and Napo hail from Évreux, a town in Normandy, France, where they are trained and cared for by Frédéric Mouquet, the creator and manager of the nearby cabaret Le Manège de Tilly.
Mouquet described Django as the “cheeky” one, while Napo was the “brave” horse of the pair. The horses’ experience performing regularly at the cabaret helped prepare them for the bustling atmosphere of Vogue World: Paris.
Additionally, animal coordinator Valérie Chavanon had previously worked with Napo on a Dior commercial, further ensuring the horses were ready for their high-profile fashion moment.

After their grand entrance on horseback, Jenner and Hadid later returned to the Vogue World runway, this time without their equine companions, showcasing more looks from the 1950s-inspired collection. The duo’s equestrian-themed appearance was a highlight of the event, celebrating the intersection of fashion and sport.
