A young Nigerian footballer, Michael Umanyika, died yesterday while in training with Azerbaijani First Division club, Zagatala PFK.
Umanyika who reportedly fell during his first training session with Zagatala PFK after returning from vacation in Nigeria was unable to be revived despite several efforts put in by the medical team on ground.
The deceased joined the Asian football Club last season and made 20 appearances for the club.
