Kwoi town, in Kaduna state has again witnessed strange shakes, described by many as earth tremor.
Many have now fled the town.
Although there hasn’t been loss of lives, several houses in the town now have their foundations shaken, leaving others with cracks on them.
And some of them which are not so strong, have had their foundations shaken, with others even losing shape.
Kwoi is the traditional seat of the Jabba people in the Southern part of Kaduna state in northwest Nigeria.
Its also home to the Nok Terracotta, evidence of which is a portrait at the city gate.
The small town, surrounded by hills has had its inhabitants traumatized by the strange sounds and shaking of the surface which started on Sunday.
Local authorities in Kwoi say the situation has kept them on their toes.
Many people have moved out of the town amid the tension and uncertainty.
The true picture of what has happened is yet to be ascertained.
But many people here have gone spiritual about the situation, describing it as a sign of the world coming to an end.
They have since been praying to their creator to forgive their wrongs, and give them a chance in the life after.
