Nigeria’s Aruna Quadri has been seeded eight for the men’s singles of the first ITTF World Tour in 2017 – the Hungarian Open.
Among the 16 top ranked players seeded for the tournament, Quadri and his doubles partner, Egypt’s Omar Assar made the list with Assar seeded 15th and they are expected to start their singles campaigns from the main draw.
However, it was a tough challenge for the four Nigerian players competing in the preliminary round as Portugal-based Bode Abiodun, Ojo Onaolapo, Kazeem Makanjuola and Olajide Omotayo were all handed tough draws.
