The recent outbreak of cerebro-spinal meningitis in some parts of Nigeria has spread to Asaba, the Delta State capital.
The first case at the Federal Medical Centre, Asaba was confirmed Wednesday by a Consultant Paediatric Neurologist, Dr. Clifford Okike.
Dr. Okike said the victim is a 6-month-old baby.
There is another suspected case of meningitis at the Warri Central Hospital.
