At the half time of the Argentina-Nigerian friendly match yesterday which ended in 4-2 in favour of Nigeria, Sergio Aguero, Argentina’s striker fainted in the dressing room.
Sergio who put his team up with 2-0 earlier in the match was rushed to the hospital immediately. Although, he had regained consciousness before leaving the stadium, he was said to have suffered a drop in his blood pressure after undergoing some tests.
The Argentina national team doctor Donato Villani said Aguero has encountered similar problems before when he was in his teens.
The past few weeks has been epic for the striker who also got in a car accident over five weeks ago, got his ribs broken but recovered quickly.
