TVC E, Entertainment – Ondo State Government is set to organise its first major carnival tagged ”Sunshine Carnival 2016″.
The State Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Femi Adekanmbi disclosed this while addressing reporters in Akure, the state capital.
Adekanmbi says the carnival is designed to promote the rich cultural values of the people of the state.
The carnival which is slated for this Easter, according to the Commissioner will boost the state tourism potential.
He added that cultural troupes from the eighteen local councils of the state are expected to be part of the event
