A legal practitioner, Michael Lana has absolved a lawyer Yewande Oyediran who is standing trial in a murder case instituted before justice Munta Abimbola of the state high court in Ibadan .
Testifying at the ongoing trial of the suspect, Michael Lana who is the second witness at today session said the original knife that led to the death of Lowo Oyediran is with the landlord of the couple, Adelodun Akinpelu adding that the one with the police is fake.
The confession which rattled many observers in court almost caused a mild stir.
The Lawyer while defending his client revealed that she confessed to him that on the day Lowo was killed, the deceased actually wanted to pin her down but erroneously stabbed himself on the neck.
Legal representations bared their minds on the latest development.
Justice Munta Abimbola has however adjourned the trial till May 24th, for the defence counsel to present the remaining two witnesses.
