Sam Okpodu confirmed as new head coach for Ikorodu United

Former head coach of Warri Wolves, Sam Okpodu has been confirmed as the new Ikorodu coach for Ikorodu United while Benson Edema is his assistant. The new coach is expected to help the team make a turn around after a series of awful performances in the Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL). Out of the six games already played, the Ikorodu boys have managed to win one, draw two and lost three. I’m happy not to have a job, says Mourinho

Mendes denies claims Mourinho wrote Man-U

TVC E, SPORT - Jose Mourinho's agent has described claims that the Portuguese has written to Manchester United in a bid to become their next manager as 'absolutely ridiculous and totally absurd'. A report in the Independent on Sunday suggested that the former Chelsea boss had written a six-page letter outlining why he would be the right man to replace Louis van Gaal, as and when he leaves Old Trafford. The report also claimed that Mourinho gave a 'forensic analysis' of United's team this season and suggested areas which could be improved.
