TVC E, MUSIC – The University of Abuja has conferred an Honorary Doctorate degree on the national leader of the ruling APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The conferment of the honour took place at the institution’s convocation ceremony.
Also honoured with a doctorate degree is a former Vice-President, Dr. Alex Ekwueme .
Tinubu was awarded a Doctorate in Business Administration (Honoris Causa) while Ekwueme was conferred with D Sc (Honoris Causa).
Others who received honourary degrees were former Chief Justices of Nigeria, Justice Idris Kutigi and Justice Maryam Aloma Muktar.
The institution also held an investiture for the Chancellor, His Royal Highness, the Emir of Zazzau, Alhj, Dr. Shehu Idris.
The Vice-Chancellor of the institution, Prof. Michael Adikwu, announced that a total of 25, 878 persons were awarded various degree certificates.
