NFF to inspect A’Ibom Stadium ahead of Cameroon clash

The Nigeria Football Federation will embark on an early inspection of the Akwa Ibom International Stadium in Uyo ahead of the 2018 world qualifier against Cameroon in August.
The bad state of the stadium has been criticised amid fears it could negatively affect the performance of the Super Eagles against the African champions.

NFF General Secretary, Mohammed Sanusi has assured that the federation will make recommendations to the Akwa Ibom state government for quick reconstruction.

Sanusi however noted that the NFF would have its plan B if the Nest of Champions is not ready before the match.
